So yeh.. it's been a crazy ride.

I totally forgot I even had this blog set up or even used it at one point. I must be way too deep in my own world. For the most part I imagine no one even reads this thing. So I intend on making it more of a journal or something. I will just rant about things in general and post some sketches now and then and yadda yadda yadda.

So, to update some things..

I am currently attending SCAD Atlanta. I made it in, got some scholarships, and I am now hacking away at my second Bachelor degree. I may end up applying for their Masters Degree program in Sequential Arts. I had originally planned on going here for animation but I was sucked in by the sequential department. I pretty much switched my major halfway through the semester. I find that sequential arts is more suited for me in the long run. So.. I am currently reinventing my illustration style and diving headfirst into conceptualizing a visual narrative and eventually getting it published. I have to admit I never read comics I just bought them for the artwork. I never memorized people's names in the industry or became a comic geek. In all honesty I find most of them pretty boring in general. They all start to look the same after a while. Mainly due to Photoshop I think.. Photoshop kills everything.

So.. I applied for an internship with Cartoon Network but didn't get it. I was pretty upset. I think it had more to due with the fact that I am not officially a "Junior" or some mess. I will try again next semester. Honestly, I am more interested in interning for Warner Bros. or a movie studio and diving into storyboard work. This summer I plan on drawing non-stop and really pushing my drawings to a newer level.

I have also started to ink panels. My professor June Brigman gave me a couple of panels to learn on. They are from Supergirl.
